So this is the first album, I would like to commit to listening to all of these albums but I do not know how well I can hold myself to that. I listened to this incredibly early in the morning (roughly 5am pacific), in the Eugene airport. I don't really think that influenced my opinion strongly but it is worth noting. This album was recorded in 1964 at the Regal theater in Chicago (the theater was later demolished in '73), which is a venue King had claimed to have performed at many, many times. I value and understand the importance of blues in music today, especially with respect to B.B King, but until this point I hadn't looked into him at all. Blues is a genre I feel could be explored more for me. If I'm honest I do not have a strong opinion on this album, it's still worth listening to again.
