Is This It by The Strokes
Dec 24 2025

Fun, vibey. Recognised some tracks. Remus Lupin approved!

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Dec 25 2025

Knew the opening track, although it isn't my favourite. Once again Remus Lupin approved. Most of the songs are pretty long, which I'm not sure I always appreciate. Some of the songs are too 'chaotic' for my likings. Though I appreciate the instruments. I wasn't as engaged in the album as I am with some others. I do really like how the last song ends with a brief snippet of the first song, it's a full circle moment.

Dec 26 2025

Some fun Christmas tunes I know. Others I didn't know, but still captured the Christmas vibes really well. Personally, I'm not too much into music from the '60s, though I'll excuse it because it's Christmas music :)) Not the best Christmas album I've heard. I thought it was funny that the producer was thanking people on the last track. I've never heard of something like that before.

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Dec 27 2025

Not a fan of his voice. Some tracks better than others. I liked the more rockier/less countrier better. Probably won't listen again, but it wasn't bad. Didn't know any of the tracks.

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Dec 28 2025

Funky. I wouldn't necessarily listen to it in my free-time, but I liked it nonetheless. Strong start of the album, but after a while, they lost me a bit.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Dec 29 2025

Funky! Knew one track (Mercedez Benz).

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Dec 30 2025

Not bad, just not my thing. I lost interest in it after a couple of tracks. Also didn't know any of them. Remus Lupin approved, though.
