I'm not sure if I've ever fully understood the hatred or the undying love for Eagles. They have always sat in the middle for me, I don't hate their music, but it's not what I reach for. I think that they have the right idea, but the music is missing something that I can't describe. I think that the high quality production almost has them lose that edge and messiness that I prefer when it comes to subgenres of rock. This also means that the length of their songs pulls people away because they don't have anything interesting enough to keep my attention for so long.
