- hard to get into - decent - try to see the listenability in the first three songs that I haven’t heard of - LOVE Somebody Told Me - oddly familiar - fifth song is boring me - until about a minute and five secs in (okay lyricism) - not feeling like revisiting this album this far - melodies are too simple thus far - not enough rise imo Half way point - On Top is a personal favourite but still very stagnant melody and theme - for the time, this makes sense - I feel like I’m by the Lifetime pool - change your mind is chill but I’m not bored yet - just remembered I’m black while listening to Believe Me Natalie - I can get behind half of this album if I liked them enough - this song just woke me up - idk know if this album is to loud or to quiet for the themes of the song or what but it’s just off putting - three songs left I feel like quitting - this is not an easy first listen - it’s too easy of production that it’s hard to continue - regaining faith with Midnight Show - why are they even talking about rn?? - it’s very 80s but not in the right sense - I’m over stimulated and underwhelmed - please hurry up (long ahh nonsense songs) - I like Everything will be Alright already - will I be disappointed?? - it’s the most interesting song yet - it’s also the longest - I feel like I’m in the morgue - nothing he’s saying means anything right now but I’m down - I’m slightly more bored by the chorus - I feel like skipping but the song almost over - it’s getting Radiohead/ Deftones- y but the just goes so far away - this is a really hard listen for me today - I don’t know how universally acceptable these takes are since I generally don’t lover the Killers - the rest of the song is just instrumental- a if the song needed to be longer - last song and I don’t like it- too meta - to bluh bluh bluh - then the guitar tries to save me from this experience and almost succeeds - embracing white struggles and experiences - it’s so plain it leaves a bad taste in my mouth - at the time, I don’t see how this album did well - key changes and theme changes is not making this song more listenable - me as a kid would ball my eyes out if I listened to Glamourous Indie Rock and Roll when it came out - it’s so tone deaf and lacks and depth of any kind - one of the safest plain albums ⭐️.5/5 starts (1.5/5)
