1001 Albums Summary

overall a GREAT album, I wouldn't say there is no skips tho. Some of the greatest songs ever written came from it(my top three): while my guitar gently weeps, happiness is a warm gun or helter skelter. I wouldn't necessarily listen to wild honey pie again but I was quite surprised by long, long, long, it was not a song I particularly listened to before but I loved the drums and the vocals on it. A few of my favorites also included dear prudence, I will and blackbird.

I don't think it's Depeche Mode best album but it's still a new wave staple. there's some classic Depeche Mode sounding songs like the things you said and some more unique songs in my opinion like I want you now. The vocals were consistent and so dark, I enjoyed it, and the instrumentals were all so imteresting and dreamy, especially behind the wheel with the long intro.

no weak songs, this was a crazy experience, her voice is insane. I think this gotta be a 5 stars album, genuinely couldn't find bad things to say, I really enjoyed both the more catchy silly songs and the darker ones. a queen.
