A love supreme
Ray Charles is an absolute legend. My first reaction after starting the first song was that it was neat to hear him with a big band behind him. Unfortunately I realized very quickly every song is the same with just different lyrics. Overall not a terrible album but just mostly boring.
It was alright. The instrumentals were mildly interesting but I found the vocals to be mostly annoying to listen to. Overall I wouldn't be upset if it randomly came on near me but I wont go out of my way to listen to it again. Would give a 2.5 if I could.
Solid! Good overall listen and I would gladly come back to this. Some goofy lyrics here and there but nothing too distracting.
Not for me. Not awful though.
Another case of it just not being for me. Especially so because I dont think his voice is not very good live. I was not a big fan of Nirvana in the first place.
