1001 Albums Summary

This was so easy to listen to - I will definitely put it in the rotation from now on! I was also surprised how many of the songs were actually familiar.

I enjoyed this. You can definitely tell they were the inspiration for lots of bands that came later! I came away with a new song added to my favorites playlist, and that’s a win in my book.

This was an incredible New Year’s Day listen and totally hit the vibe right to start 2026. Incredible live performances by the entire band, and clean, soulful vocals. Will definitely listen again soon!

Oh, how I loved this album! I will listen to this over and over, it has such a great vibe. I will also listen to Iggy’s other albums now!

I didn’t love this album, it felt very one-note to me. It has a very melancholy vibe to it that don’t seem to let up as the album went on. I probably won’t listen to it in its entirety again.

I loved this, which came as no surprise since I just completely vibe with R.E.M.’s sound. Just a classic listen.

This was a fun listen. I definitely enjoy this style of pop-punk a lot, and I wasn’t familiar with Elastica, so I’m glad I got a chance to check them out! Nothing really hit as a song I’d like to add to my “favorites” play list, but I could see myself putting this on in the background when I’m cleaning or just hanging out at home, and wanting to listen to something more fast-paced.

It was enjoyable, but I didn’t love it. I dug the sound and the vibe, but nothing jumped out at me as a favorite new track. I could definitely keep this album in rotation, but I wouldn’t say any favorites came out of listening.
