1001 Albums Summary

An upbeat album for the Beatles, but a little too “showy” for my tastes. All of the songs are catchy, but there are so many other great Beatles works out there!

Classic album. Not a huge fan as the album is somewhat monotone and redundant.

Totally different than the Beach Boys sound we are used to! Nothing stands out to me on this album. I think I couldn’t get over Brian Wilson not being involved on this one?

Classic album! One of my all time favorites with strong appearances from all band members. Melodies and tunes are iconic for their era.

Takes me back to my college days with this one! More abrasive than many of their more mainstream hits, but showcases Cobain’s lyrical talent well.

This is not a familiar genre of music for me but the entire vibe was smooth and uplifting

Cat Stevens’s voice and lyric are always poignant and soothing. This one did not disappoint
