Gimme Shelter: Such a good opener to album. The little ooohs at the beginning are so good with the buildup. End of world anthem. Please remind to check out work/ music that has Merry Clayton on it 🤓 Her voice and Mick’s go so well together. It’s just a shoot away is something I will probably remember the most out of this song. Love in vain: I’m sorry but being a fan of Robert Johnson 😔, I was okay with this reinterpretation. I like the instrumental and how I can imagine going to a bar with a buddy after this situation happening. Going into detail, with a hint of regret and sadness. Country Honk: I like the fiddle 🤓👍 Live with me: The late 60s and early 70s were a different time buddy. What an odd way of asking your girlfriend to come live with you. Bobby keys on the sax and Keith Richards on the bass🙀 I like the mention of Crazy Horse, I didn’t know it started in the 50s. I like the lyric: they got earphone heads. But I’m not an hippie hater. Overall a well composed song, a problematic fav I suppose. Let it bleed : I really like the drums and bass towards the bridge to the end. Midnight Rambler: A harmonica solo! 🤯The tempo change and drums change. I really enjoy the storytelling in the lyrics. Probably my fav song so far.
