Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Jan 04 2026

Not generally the kind of music that I’m a fan of. As much as I can appreciate the lyrics and skill it is unlikely I will ever return to this album. I liked ‘lily, rosemary and the jack of hearts’, it was upbeat and I think his voice sounded the best here; It sounded very nostalgic to me. ‘Tangled in blue’ was pretty good too, I can see why it was popular. The rest were fine but not something I’d listen to in my own time. That said I happened to be in a teeny tiny town in the middle of the desert while listening and idk there’s something about twangy guitar and harmonica that fit so well with cactus, red rock and dust. I think if you hated or didn’t get this album you should give it another go if you ever end driving though the Arizona desert. Made me feel like I was in an old cowboy movie.

Blood, Sweat & Tears by Blood, Sweat & Tears

Felt very disjointed and many of the songs made no sense on their own let alone alongside the rest of the ones in the album. A few were fun but not nearly enough to put up with the rest of the album.

Country Life by Roxy Music

I liked this one, groovy with a classic rock vibe. All the songs after “bitter sweet” except for “prairie rose” were a little too slow for me tho.
