1001 Albums Summary

The Beatles have been a crutch for the musically inept since their inception. Did they have good songs, sure, are they musical geniuses that should be held to higher standards, not even close. This albums visuals and silly song titles are the most positive outcome from this project. The experimentation produces boring interludes and obscure lyrics that don’t generate enough interest to yearn for deeper meaning.

Personally never been a fan of Prince. Understand the appeal but vocals and song writing have never delivered for me.

Nick Cave is a legend. At times this album flirts with musical theater which can be off putting however it’s easily forgiven by the good parts.
