1001 Albums Summary

I feel that context is a very important part of this album, although I agree that some songs are just another cover. His voice being more withered than his earlier work is absolutely brutal, especially closing with we'll meet again.

I LOVE ELO!! it doesn't sound like the Beatles you guys are crazy. I love the orchestral instruments included throughout, and it's beautifully complex. I could listen to this album over and over.

I wasn't expecting myself to like this album as much as I did! Although it exceeded my expectations, it wasn't exactly mindblowing. 3.5 ⭐️
