1001 Albums Summary

I think it was an amazing album. If you hear ir, it has different vibe from 70's and 80's, The voice of Stevie Won der contribute to that fact, and make the entire album so fluid to listen, thet you doesn't even realized when is over, you can hear it in an eternal loop if you want and you probably wouldn't be bored, bou hypnotized by the funky guitars and the hilarious harmonies and melodies created by all the instruments, they don't sound separently, they join and sound as one. My favorite song was Heaven is 10 Zillion lights away, tha guitar really took me to and special place, the melody is so calm that I wanted to erase everi bit of anger I ever had in my life.

I think power of numbes was an interesting composition. I had never heard of Jurassic 5, and I have to admit that even it is not the genrer I use to listen on my daily routine, it was amazing to listen such a diverse piece of music. It is nice how they connect memory and present, telling us how they music is a communication of a chain full of generations that had their own history, but at the end they communicate us that that past as well is part of them. In fact, one of the song that better communicate this, I think was freedom, because the sample used at the begginig and the hole backgrounf music, joined with the poweful message in the voices, was an entire combination that composed a clear concrete message. At the end music is what really weave our past in such an authentic way.
