I like this.. the country, the rock and the one song that sounds like blues… I would say this album is a good 6.8 out of 10. Pretty good but mediocre.
It is pretty good for its time and the mix of country, blues and rock of this album is pretty good so I like this very much. Blue Suede Shoes, Trying to Get to You, I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry (Over You), and Blue Moon are the strongest of this album.
It has the funky soul to it, and I love that. It has the blackness that is needed in a funky soul album like this. But like albums from the past, it is missing a lot to make it over 3 stars in my music taste now, but this is a good album nonetheless.
It was a mid album to be honest. I do love the songs: Big Med, Floaty, and Exhausted, but also this is the first album I skipped a song because I didn't like it, so it's just mid honestly.
