bro all of my listening notes didn’t save… very influential bunch!!! my dad deffo listened to this. i really like express yourself!! crazy to hear from a completely different walk of life not a fan of the misogyny and homophobia + toxic masculinity…. not particularly my style of music, but i can appreciate the artistry behind it, i might listen to a few of these songs on my own, but it’s very hit or miss for me something 2 dance 2 is nice, run dmc-ish also kind of i wanna dance with somebody

the backing tracks are very halloween-y…very creepy and it fills me with a sense of existential dread. final track intro is so scary genuinely… i think those things work for what they’re going for though. the message of the album and that. i wouldn’t choose to listen to these songs outside of listening to the full album for a story though. like it would be completely out of place in a playlist. the poor soul that wrote this :(

very fun beats!!! i’ve heard some of these songs before!! this would cheer me up on an off day. might need to revisit for a confidence boost! i love this style of music, i just don’t often choose to listen to it, which is odd!

deffo heard “and it stoned me” before! really like—confused about what he means by “stoned me like a jelly roll”? i i’ll have to look into it jazz influences really shine through on moondance really like crazy love & caravan into the mystic is really nice! reminds me of potion by djo vaguely…i can see his influence come running is not my fave, it’s okay! not a standout to me. not a huge fan of everyone, kind of medieval LOL i like these dreams of you! brand new day and glad tidings are alright! pretty good album! the first half is VERY STRONG!!! second half is pretty good! the lowest lows are still good and the highest highs are great! very good album :) best album i’ve listened to thus far!
