1001 Albums Summary

fave: express yourself ahead of its time for sure! i think it really paved the way for the future of hiphop and did some things that hadn't been done before in the genre at that time. very violent and aggressive but also silly at times. i can see where future groups, such as jvb, have taken inspiration from the group. some serious classics on this one

enjoyed this one a lot more than i expected! morally can't rock with this band but i know how important this record was for the foundation of what punk is today. really liked the instrumentation throughout, you can really HEAR the instruments. i hate how polished/manufactured so much of today's instrumentation sounds - bring back real guitars and drums!!
