1001 Albums Summary

I think I only liked Purple Rain just a little, and that's it. The other songs were average for me, nothing memorable, except for Darling Nikki for obvious reasons, still tho I don't think Prince is a bad musician, just this album in particular wasn't my thing

I very much liked it. It's very clear the message, no big metaphors nor analogies are needed. It's just about everything that was, is and probably will be wrong at their lives, at the culture and environment the live in. Sometimes I found the topics repetitive, but I think is because tries to develop the ideas that she's fighting for with more reality stages that people like her go through every day. I didn't know her as I'm not that familiar with the black American culture figures but really got me. Also, I love folk so there'll be always a win/win from me for these types of projects.
