It started off strong with Blister in the Sun, but I honestly did not enjoy this. It got more chaotic as it went, and the subject matter is not my cup of tea.

Individually, I love all these songs. I'm a fan of rock and metal, so listening to such an influential album was fun. Howmever, every single one of these songs felt like they were about sex and drugs and ten songs back to back about that was a bit much. Individually, 10/10 but together, no thank you.

This is the kind of music my mom would listen to in the car, singing her heart out while ten year old me would beg for her to please play something else. She'd respond by turning it up and singing louder

Side A was interesting, but not my fav. Side B though was really neat, very atmospheric, moody, and all around melancholy vibes which I'm here for. I got reminded of the Dear Hunter during Weeping Wall especially, which was very cool.
