1001 Albums Summary

noisy up until the riot song!! but then after i liked mardy bum and the song after..overall not my kind of music because it felt loud in a way i don't like even with the lowest volume. also i feel like this would have been sung by a white guy in a dirty blond shaggy imullet and a leather jacket in the 80s. not that i know much about 80s music.

First song is "Lost one" and...I kinda like this! I immediately feel like i'd listen to this in my earhuds and bop my head down the street! Great start so far. This is my first time listening to lauryn hill, so I was under the impression that she raps primarily, but this second song is like rnb? Her voice is gorgeous, reminds me of monica and brady. I wonder if this is the second "how am i supposed to change myself?". OMG WAIT ok the chorus is playing I know this song!! I love this part, I didn't look to see this was ex-factor!!! As I continue through the next song, I am just loving the soul and vibe of this album. Definitely adding to my playlists. I'm currently listening to the album for a second time, and I absolutely love it! I am geniunely glad to listen to this album right now because I have been searching for new music I can vibe to and feel this way over. My favourites: 1. Lost one 2. Ex-Factor 3. Doo wop 4. Not my fav! I liked the first couple songs but i think i stopped listening htrough the last half of the tracks? not sure, although those songs i know i have listened to before like "money money money", "thats me", etc. what i do like is that i found some good abckground songs like "when i kissed the teacher" and "my love, my life". this album makes me think of dream land and cotton candy and blue and pink and like yeah lol. woukd i say its my taste persay? no. but i do have a good bunch if the tracks on my liked songs, and honestly its hard for me to find good songs to multitask/study with but i did like listening to some of these while doing work in a busy space. not too distracting. not bad abba!!
