This album just feels correct, like staring out the window and realizing this montage leads nowhere. It is cynical, dramatic, self-pitying and understands emotional intensity as a lifestyle choice. For us who are soft, dramatic, over-thinkers, but still pretend we’re above all.

It pumps you up, but emotionally it doesn’t always go anywhere new. After a while it starts to feel the same on repeat. Respect it, not emotionally attached.

Didn’t fully grab me on first listen, but the rhythms are undeniable and the vibe is there. It’s tense, jumpy, and kind of hypnotic in a gray-city way. Maybe I’ll give it another try.
