1001 Albums Summary

it’s nothing that i haven’t heard before. quintessential mid-60s album. i like the sound fx in rainy day in june. interesting think about the role they played in shaping the sound of that period, just for me to say it sounds generic.

a perfect rock album. perhaps a little too long.

a sound that defined the 90s. i would love to hear this sampled now — i think it stands the test of time. my fave of this project so far.

YES! been waiting for this one! Björk is one of those artists who I have always been tangentially familiar but have never dived deeply into. It is so easy to hear how she inspired many of my favorite artists now.

well hello jimmy smith. it was a fine album. good background. i simply cannot listen to jazz as a recording.
