1001 Albums Summary

Depeche Mode at the peak of their considerable powers. I have friends who love this band with all their heart. While I like them, they were never *that* band for me. But this one is undeniable.

There are a handful of albums where it was one way before and another way after it was released. It is a small list. "Nevermind." The self titled Ramones record. "Nation of Millions." Your pick that you are mad at me for forgetting to mention it. "Straight Outta Compton" is one of these records. Every song on side one is a grand slam. There's not a ground rule double until the middle of side two.
