1001 Albums Summary

pretty cohesive album! it evokes a certain emotion i'm not sure what to call. i wish i could appreciate it more but i cannot get over the voice. don't know what it is. it had some good songs but none made a huge impression on me, i think. a lot of songs were kind of repetitive. i think it was lacking that sort of punch that i like in my music. nothing wrong with that! i just think it would be better appreciated in the ears of another listener.

suuuuper cohesive. every song belongs in this album together. sometimes i forget how old creedence clearwater is and this song definitely reminds me when they're from! i wish there was more lyricism, in a way. i was definitely able to appreciate this album a lot and every song was enjoyable! the lower ratings are just for not really having lyrics and feeling more like a background track than anything else. this album is a very good representation of the band just being a group of guys in the 60s/70s.
