Was familiar with “Perfect Day” and “Walk on the Wild Side” I feel like walk on the wild side is trying to say something but I can’t quite grasp the point on one listen back to back. Overall, I felt the album was tonally inconsistent with some very slow and uninteresting features. Not my cup of tea. Music-history wise - I’ve heard this album mentioned as a milestone of sorts, but it’s not that captivating in 2026. Think I’ve heard better stuff involving Lou Reed; someone mentioned Velvet Underground which rings a bell.
