1001 Albums Summary

I would love to be cool about this and slag off this album. When I think of the biggest ‘cock rock’ tracks ever I immediately think of it’s mg life Bon Jovi and Sweet Child O Mine which is on this album. HOWEVER. Barring that what an album this is, it was my introduction to heavy rock and I think it is wall to wall rock riff artistry. It’s so easy & rocket queen are highlights for me.

Meh. This was nostalgic at best, but listening back although I enjoyed some of the Melodies overall I actually think this is quite a weak album. The lyrics are weird a lot of the time and it drags. For fifteen tracks…

I’ve always found bob kind of inaccessible to an extent. But to its credit this is a beautiful melodic bitter album. Filled with great little lines that make you ponder and lovely little melodies I could have listened to it on repeat for the day.

Eurgh I feel like a cultureless attentionspanless void. This just didn’t set in at all for me, I could barely distinguish from track to track and I just really don’t like big band swingy stuff. That said there are some lovely moments and he has such a smooth voice. What I have really learnt in the last few days is that albums should be 11 tracks max. Sorry Ray.

Not bad a lot of skip from me.
