1001 Albums Summary

can't believe I've barely listened to anything by Neil Young. Cinnamon Girl was a very promising opening track especially the drums. Round and Round was beautiful, one of those ones where you forget where you are and just drift off. Guitar solo on Down By The River my goodness + the solos in-between verses on Cowgirl in the Sand

feel like I would have appreciated it more if I listened to it about ten years earlier. I missed the train. Jesus, etc. is a great track though!

I couldn't finish it Think it was my first time listening to a rock opera and I doubt I'll delve deeper - there's some good tracks here (faves: Pinball Wizard, Sally Simpson) but it's buried beneath a lot of repetitive, irritating stuff that drags on forever
