1001 Albums Summary

The opening of the album is sickkk. Oh my god that guitar? And then followed with the heavier ones… its fucking epicc. Surprised how much i liked this. I did start getting tired of the guitars on like the last 2 songs but for the most part it was really cool and hyped me up!! I almost started levitating during the second part of Orion, when they slow it down, i can’t even explain how much i loved it, literally life changing. good album!

First song was way too long, 10 minutes of straight noodling. Album in general was not distinct, every song felt like an extension of each other, except for A Venture, fav song off the album. Felt stagnant some moments, melodies change every other second and just feel excessive at times, that may be some peoples thing but not me, not a fan of the aimless feel. Overall groovy, but mid.

I’ve never even heard of Fleetwood Mac until today yet i knew at least 1 song already. Based on reviews i just assumed this album was being glazed but hey it’s not bad. Don’t usually like music like this but even on the tracks i felt were kinda boring, they weren’t bad they were still listenable and i could appreciate the muscisianship. It was good tracks and then some amazing tracks. Amazing tracks meaning ‘The Chain’ ‘Dreams’ ‘Go Your Own Way’ which are (again i only got this information from the reviews) the hit’s that are already recognized from this album and i see why. I can’t say i don’t see why some people think this is the best album oat, but i also can’t say i don’t see why some think it’s overated, meaning: it’s interchangably a good and great album for me
