Fine album, it is very popular for a reason. It is a very American album and gives me capitalist punk vibes. I get the hype, but not an amazing album in my opinion.
Nearly every song is over 5 mins long, some even 10+! These songs feel like if you don’t pay enough attention to the track you will think it’s moved onto another song but it’s just the interlude to the second part of the song that sounds widely different to the first. They also have a song called backwashpsychosis Enema Squad, so there’s that. A creative band to which I can say I have never heard anyone sound like them before, or since.
