1001 Albums Summary

very simple song structures. melodies are very blue-sy and seem to keep in single key (idk tho). lots of call and response, walking bass, etc. rhythms are steady and keep consistent. lyrics seem to be rather generic. i found the lead singer to be grating. i would probably rather listen to SRV or some other electric blues. penthouse pauper fav song. i found that cosmo's factory was much better.

nice songs but listening to the album as a whole the songs blur together and really start grating your ear. i found this clash album to be not as varied or balanced as their later ones.
