I agree with what one reviewer said, and that was that it was easy for this album to quickly become background noise. I don’t know if it’s the vocals— pushed back and just out of reach where the hard to understand singing style of Jim Morrison— or something else. The Bluey influences are definitely heard throughout and there are some killer harmonica sections. This album just didn’t do it for me though. It’s a fine album and I know there are some diehard fans of this album, and I’m sure I can be one of them, but I don’t wanna really take the time to fall in love with this album if that’s even possible. I’ve also read that this is their most revered album. If that is the case, I don’t think I need to hear anymore of the Rolling Stones because I didn’t really take this happen that much. It’s fine…
