a lot of rockabilly vibes here

lots of nice, bassy kicks on this album. I liked Euro Child but other than that it’s not really my thing. never been into trip hop. super atmospheric, though

Super playful album, lots of simple sounds that build out into fun little ear worms. really chilled out, too. could have multiple in depth conversations with this just rocking in the background. it’s sort of unobtrusive in that way, but if you do want to focus in on it, you’ll find something to like in pretty much every song. very consistent, tonally. *full of songs that are probably really easy to learn on guitar to impress your crush i can’t say any of the tracks truly stuck out to me or are very memorable. i don’t think i’d ever return to this for anything other than relaxing background music.

it just rips, man. no misses

this album makes me feel like i’m trapped in the back rooms but it’s just a never ending Marshall’s. it’s not exactly a nightmare, it can even be cozy, but it’s just not that fun. But I understand that that can be a safe and sacred place for some people and that’s okay. She has such a lovely voice man and it’s perfect for the genre. I kind of want to isolate her vocals and just listen to that all day. The pacing of this album feels weird and idk why. The songs sort of blend together in the first half. I somewhat enjoyed Oh, What A World, and of course i really loved Happy & Sad. Velvet Elvis took me out though i didn’t get through the rest.
