1001 Albums Summary

I don't really like rap that much. It just sounded better when they weren't rapping but just funking and fucking around. Interludes are sick though. Class of 3000 somehow has better songs then most of this album which I think just shows that Andre 3000 what the good one out of this duo. In fact I found myself wishing the album was just the interludes and Andre repeating his lines over and over solo. I'd say a 2.5-3 I might try giving it more of a chance. When the beats are abrasive, strange, and trippy they sound really good. But most of the time I find myself not really bobbing my head but just kind of letting the music fly past me. If every song was like everything after "?" then it would be a 5/5. I feel like this album was ruined by rap cliches and a lack of funk. If this album was made in 1992 then it would be a 5/5 which is kind of funny

Oh my god I hate his voice so fucking much. When he isn't singing it rocks though. 2 stars

9/10 album some parts don't land but when they're getting psychedelic and bluesy it becomes one of the greatest albums of the 1970's if not all time
