Never knew what "Gimme Shelter" was called, but I recognized it pretty quickly when it started playing. Gives anti-war for me. Liked it! "Love in Vain" was a tone switch to a blues heavy style track. Not sure I appreciated the stereo split on my headphones. Made me feel they were playing in two different rooms with me in the doorway. Could have been the medium, but unfortunately ruined any chance it had for me, however small it originally was. Not bad, but not my style. "Country Honk" is exactly what it sounds like. Back to rock and roll for "Live With Me". Didn't really care for the song message. The music was alright. "Let It Bleed". The title track. 1m45 in and it's kind of boring. Didn't end up enjoying it really at all. Second half of "Midnight Rambler" was actually kind of interesting. "You Got The Silver" was better than the last 3 combined. "Monkey Man" had a good sound going. I think he went feral at the end? One of the better songs. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" is a very popular song already. It's not transcendental or anything, but I do quite enjoy the song. It earns a spot in my liked songs. Overall not a great album for me. The first and last songs can stay in my library, but they can't save the rest of the entire album's rating for sure. Knee jerk rating after a listen through is 2/5 overall.
