1001 Albums Summary

Very good start, I love Hip-hop, but this album was very same-ish with no standouts. Some of the lyrics were fun and fresh, I like the 90s vibes a lot, also. The overall idea of "progress" as the center theme of the album, as well as some progressive ideas, were up my alley. Very little sexism, but not nonexistent. I have to say that some rhymes were very simplistic but the beats were nice to listen. I'd rate it a 5.5/10.

Way too "old-timey" and "chill" for me. In this case I desperately needed something more modern. With no intent to offend anyone, I could call this sitcom music or supermarket music, a filler in someone's playlist. The instrumentals were OK, but just OK. The lyrics I couldn't understand nor relate to. I gave it a full isten out of respect. Still waiting for a hit or two to like, will update if I find one. Update: nothing of note.
