1001 Albums Summary

Of course I know Violent Femmes, but this was my first time listening to this album front to back. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it’s definitely one that is best saved for the right mood. The raw emotion behind the lyrics and shaky vocals really come through with the acoustic imprecision of the instrumentation. Definitely an album I would like to add to my vinyl collection.

A little cheesy. Not for me, but I see how it is of its time.
