1001 Albums Summary

I've always appreciated the very transitional nature of this record, how it keeps that mersey-beat swing that makes early beatles simple fun, but the eclectic arrangements and psychedelic haze starts getting injected, giving the the album a very lackadaisical and freeflowing sort of joy. Was my favourite Beatles record for a very long time, and it still inspires a sort of hippie carelessness in my heart

Straightforward Muddy goodness, really not much you can say but why would you need to? A passionate, joyful, and near-effortless grasp of the fundamentals of the Blues.

Brilliant :) Thunder Road easily goes down as one of the greatest American songs ever recorded
