I think this album is a great start to this 1001 album journey that I have going on. I love jazz or soul whatever you might call this genre because I don't know where to check on Spotify for genre, (tomorrow I will search up the album genre into a search engine) I think albums like this are time capsules that aren't opened as much as they need to be. It feels like you are actually there and watching Muddy Waters perform (I would clap along with the audience when songs ended). All in all I give this album a low six out of ten I would say, (side note but I think I am gonna try to make a rating system that I can just use for the rest of the albums but for now I'm going to be doing something in a similar fashion to Anthony Fantano). While being a nice album to listen to you can tell with songs like this that are very old they would be repetitive, lots of lyrics being said over and over again, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy that type of music. all in all, a good album that I most likely will be relistening to (whether it be to look back on day one or just listening through my 1001 albums playlist on spotify).
