1001 Albums Summary

This was just fun. It's not really my vibe but it was an experience. The instrumentals were A1 and when someone was singing it just made it better. Talking about singing, I would have like a bit more vocals and found some tracks to be repetitive. I'd listen to the album as a whole again but don't see a lot of replay value in singular tracks. Rating: 7.4/10 Favorite track : Chan Chan Day 1

The album was fun-ish to listen to. I feel like it was an experiment that they still ahd to work on. The vocals were a bit too much for me but I can understand why some people would like it. The instrumentals were definetly my favorite part of the whole album. All in all this was interesting but i got kinda bored/wanted to skip tracks often. The highs were high but the rest of the album was just ehhhhhh. Rating : 6.4 Favorite track : Blister in the sun Day 2

The album was a vibeeeeee. I'm not really into the electro genre but it was definitely fun to listen to in the background. I normally try to focus on the album but I just let it play while I was busy and really liked the atmosphere created by the sound. Would I listen to the songs as singles? Maybe... Would I listen to the whole album while doing chores? 100%. I might rate it higher on another listen but for now i'm okay with a 3. Rating : 6.8 Favorite track : A Higher place

All around BANGER. This was just incredible. The consistency is what really shines in this album. Obviously when you see Pink Floyd you expect it to be good but this was just great track after great track. The vocals, the production and the writing were all on. point. The type of album you listen to every other month and are amazed each time. Rating : 9.4 Favorite track : Comfortably Numb

Pretty good album. The early 70s vibe was really there and it felt like a "classic". Just a clean album all around. Not my favorite but it was enjoyable. Tommy's story throghout was the best part. Otherwise the vocals were nice and the same can be said about the instrumental. Unfortunately the "WOW" factor wasn't there for me. Rating : 7.0 Favorite track : We're Not Gonna Take It

What the fuck. The album starts super strong with blue orchid and then it just falls to absolute trash. Maybe I just don't get the vision but this was absolutely crazy. And not in a good way. Every single aspect of the tracks felt wrong. Anyways I can't give it a one start because the first few songs were okay but that was a hard listen. Rating : 3.2 Favorite track : Blue Orchid
