Uh-Oh, Love Comes To Town: 2/5. Realized pretty quickly that this isn't my thing, but it's an easy 38-minute listen. New Feeling: 3/5. Surprisingly liked this one a bit. The whininess felt appropriate and relatable. Tentative Decisions: 1/5. I like the outro, might've just been because it was over ahahahahaha Happy Day: 2/5. This boy is in motion............. Who Is It: 1/5. Happy Day, but worse. Honestly, it all started to blend together after this point. No Compassion: 3/5. I listened to the following 3 songs, but I don't remember how they went, nor do I wish to revisit them. The Book I Read: n/a Don't Worry About The Government: n/a First Week/Last Week.... Carefree: n/a Psycho Killer: 2/5. I know this one. Never liked it. Cool to see where it came from. Pulled Up: 3/5. This one is fun. This whole album is like if toddler-speak were intelligible. I'm not trying to be unkind; there's just not much to say. Nothing burger.

One of those album covers I've seen many times yet it did not occur to me once that it is an album cover for an album that contains tracks. Rated purely based on personal joyment. Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Pts. 1-5: 5/5 Listened to it first thing this morning, it was very peaceful. Listened to it again this evening, it's somehow taken a completely different tone. I love the sax solo to pieces. Welcome to the Machine: 4/5 Listened as I pulled up to school to meet my fellow cogs. Synethizer! Have a Cigar: 5/5 Favorite on the album. Love the parts where the synthesizer chimes in. Wish You Were Here: 5/5 What have we found? the same old fears. Wish u were here :( oh man Shine On Your Crazy Diamond, Pts 6-9: 5/5 Crazyyyyyyy. Siiiiiick. Coooool. Inspiiring. I like it a lot.

odelay! one of the negative reviews on here read that this album sounds like beck just threw stuff at the wall and hoped it stuck: i agree! when it stuck, though, it was awesome. when it didn't, it was awkward at worst. what i like most about this album is that i can sense how much fun he had making it. i don't hear that often. added to playlist: novacane, high 5, lord only knows, ramshackle.

i bet this sounds great if you're attuned to country music... i personally found this challenging to get through till the end. there were some things i liked: the story in "i hung my head", the weird droning in the outro of "bridge over troubled waters" (reminded me of exit to a film, i looked everywhere to see if it was just a niche instrument or sample but i couldn't find anything), the guitar in "personal jesus", and the music box chime in the outro of "in my life". this was definitely worlds better than the average country song. now for the negative. i'm not a fan of his cover of "we'll meet again"... his voice doesn't convey enough emotion for that kind of song. i enjoyed the heavy baritone vocals and all, i just don't find it very moving. granted, there are few male vocalists who convey emotion in a way that i can connect with. i suppose the album is objectively well-produced, but the point of art, in my opinion, is to evoke some kind of feeling. young thug evokes more feeling in me than this. talking about sad things in your music doesn't inherently make you deep, or maybe droning on and on about other people's problems just isn't my cup of tea.

sounds like hanging around the wrong crowd and loving every second of the steep decline that comes with it. miss being 16. good album
