Favorites: Isn’t She Lovely Ebony Eyes Saturn Knocks Me Off My Feet Summer Soft Overall Opinion: To me this album sounds like a romantic comedy in the fall. I love the themes of love, not only romantic but also fatherly, and also of peace and acceptance. Also the fact that Wonder included snippets of his own life (I think) with his daughter laughing perfectly mirrors that childlike innocence he longs for in songs like Saturn or Have a Talk With God. I think in general the album feels like a warm cup of tea or a fluffy blanket even in songs where politics and violence are discussed. It just feels very current and sort of romantic to me.
