Love the wacky notes, especially in "Time". Cracked actor had nice singing thingies, like the voice getting louder and subsiding away. I noticed a continuous beat of the guitar through most of the songs, and the deep notes (bass i think) was nice. The piano beginnings in some songs was nice as well!! The album so far (currently on 2nd to last song) gets better and better. HOLY SHIT, "Lady Grinning Soul" stars off so beautifully??!! The soft slow singing and the piano excitedly tapping?!?? Probably my favorite so far...wait lemme listen more. "Lady Grinning Soul" definitely my favorite. I think I'll relisten to this. Nice start to last song!! Okay relistening... "Watch That Man" changed a little after relistening. I think it was mostly the instrumental that deterred me a little, but after listening again, it grew on me a little. I liked it!! "Aladdin Sane" I love the piano start and the soft singing with the jazzy notes!! "Uh uh uh uh you'll make it", i like. The contrast with the soft slower notes, then the pace picking up, is nice! I don't know how else to explain. Then there's the juanty key notes π!! "Drive In Saturday" had a different start but peaceful. I like the "aaaahhhhhhh" background voices and the saxophone. Oohh the build up in "It's a- it's- it's-" LOVE. "Panic In Detroit" the tone feels upbeat with the guitar and drums, wasn't my taste before but i kinda like it! dun dun dundahhhh, like it! Also the background singers are fun :o The little higher pitched guitar notes are my favorite part of the song. The layered voices and guitar riffing was also another really good bit. "Cracked Actor" I like the lyrics "Crack baby Crack, check your ear Crack baby Crack smack baby smack" I like it lot! Also the Guitar building with the voice and adding emphasis is really nice rhythm. I love the singing in the "Oh yeayhhh" and in general for this song. Felt very licking microphone? But not in a weird way βπΌ. Probably my 2nd fav in this album. "Time" WAHEHH love the beginning, the lyrics are nice too!! I notice i could hear them better in this song so called me bias...(although i did like the lyrics in Panic in Detroit too). The vocals = βποΈπ€ yes. "Should be home by now" felt, interesting? Like it reminded me of something but dont know what. The pause and then starting again twice, then the guitar shift!!! Love. Love. "Take your time" πππ. "I had so many dreams" "love has left you dreamless" I like this song π. I think this one's my 2nd fav, then the previous song is my 3rd fav. The senseless singing / humming reminds me of the feeling I get when I'm losing my mind a little / delusionally wasting time?? Like a daydream!! But a real life? "The Prettiest Star" nice start but I don't really like it? I like it but the beat and the singers at the beginng, not my taste I think. Felt like a old marionent musical?? (Thinking of cabaret but i love cabaret so not the same) Probably my least favorite song. However, the singing reminds me of Pink Love by Blonde Redhead...I dont know why?? I dont hate this song y'know, the more I listen it's nicer! I've also noticed a pattern in all the songs where there's an instrumental break about a minute and a half where there's the instrument's time to shine. I like it a lot in this song particularly, maybe this songs a better than I thought!! Liked it the 2nd time listening. "Let's Spend The Night Together" Gave heavy 60s-80s feelings, especially with the beginning! I felt hints of sci-fi a little. I like the faster paced beat and singing. I liked the cadence of the singing, it does feel glam! :3 Then the ending? π>[]< YEAHHHHHHHH "The Jean Genie" I like the beat, i like the hanging of the voice "hannnng" this is nice! But this song probably is one of my least favorites because it felt a little more country than I'd like π€. just the feeling i got. but i like the guitar most of all in this one!!! "Lady Grinning Soul" MY FAVORITE so far, but let's see if there's more notes. I love the being obviously, the guitar and piano duet βοΈπ₯Ή yes please. this one reminds me of an etheral being floating away, don't ask. The singing too? So soft and distant! I love π. The danicng piano and swaying guitar as me nyself and I would say, the singing feels so familiar too. "And when the ? are too" βπ₯Ή, "She'll be your living end" π Also just found out there's lyrics?!!? WHAT, i could've been...bro. ποΈποΈ "All The Young Dudes" i like the little blablbalbkah of the guitar in beginning, and the starting lyrics hit. 25. "Television man is crazy saying what delinquent ??" I also love the repeated "All the Young Dudes carry the news" throughout the song, Love. Okay finished it!! also damn didn't realize some people hated this album so much, went to go look at the reviews for a little bit, came back feeling a little dejected. at the end of the day though these are just my little notes I made while listening!! remember your opinion is your own. πΌπ
