pleasantly surprised by most of the album, wasn’t exactly what i was expecting especially since it’s very much not the type of music i usually listen to. i’ve been thinking a lot about the level of complexity (track wise) and it’s definitely interesting to listen to something limited technologically in terms of both amount of distinct tracks and the sounds possible to be created at the time. i don’t expect myself to return to this much, but there may be one or two songs that will stick with me despite not currently standing out. i don’t know much at all about the era that this came out in so i’m missing a bit of context but i imagine this was relatively revolutionary for the time in terms of pushing the sounds of rock forward
