1001 Albums Summary

This album didn’t really speak to me that much, and some of the songs started to feel a bit repetitive after a while. I also honestly don’t know enough about the impact of this album to fully “get” it, but does sound like a classic to me(what ever that means).Whether sounding like a classic is a good thing or not… I haven't decided yet. I did really like the saxophone on Your Latest Trick though. That part sounded great! Overall, the album was slightly boring to my ears, but maybe that’s just part of the experience. This is exactly the kind of music I imagine people mean when they talk about “dad music”. Although to be fair, my dad only listened to death and doom metal when I was growing up, so my understanding of dad music might be completely off.
