1001 Albums Summary

Overall solid album, there are definitely a few skippable songs toward the end of the record though. Best songs are the title track and southern man.

What we have here is one of the great albums in rock. All eight tracks are good, and then there are songs like Stairway to Heaven and When the Levee Breaks that are outright brilliant. The only reason it’s not a 5 is because hard rock like this isn’t necessarily by bread and butter, and because lyrics at points feel lacking in depth.
