Really like the psychedelic vibes of this album. I thought they underused the female vocalist. She has a much more distinct sound, whereas I felt like the male vocalist sounded like a 3rd member of Simon and Garfunkel. It doesn’t surprise me the two biggest hits from this album were the two songs where she was the lead vocalist.
I had listened to this album all the way through 2 years ago in a college course on Bob Dylan. My opinion on him is the same now as it was then, he’s a great songwriter but I don’t love his voice. This album has some songs that are excellent covered by other bands (subterranean homesick blues covered by the Lumineers and Mr. Tambourine Man covered by the Byrds). My favorite song on this album for Bob Dylan’s original recording was It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue
Wasn’t familiar with most of this album before listening, besides the first song. Liked the angry girl rock sound and the all the songs matched the vibe well.
