1001 Albums Summary

Apparently, this album is very well known and listened by billions... I'm a particularly new to Indietronica, so I can't say much, but basing my listening experience from Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, this record feels different. It leans more to lighter yet somber vibe of beats and lyrical structure. It's an okay cup of tea. It kind of makes me sleepy... What's with the beats that makes it like that?

A John Lennon album. Personally, I don't listen to him nor The Beatles much, but the sound here are pretty much got my attention going. It's clearly not a linear album, with variety of sound styles incorporated. But all throughout, it never ceased to sound iconic enough for me to expect differently. Maybe that's both a pro and a con, a double-edged sword. Not bad, but again I haven't found my path within The Beatles-verse yet, maybe the rating will change? Who knows.
