Listening statistics & highlights
Really loved my time listening to this one. I figured it was about drugs, and when I looked up that it was released in 1972, when music about drugs (or the bad side of it) wasn't that common, I found that very cool. Really liked the instrumentals a lot too.
I just have one thing to say, THAT voice.
I accidentally listened to the clean version of the album. That made me realise how they normalised swearing, cause my god. But I really enjoyed my time listening to it. Would replay.
I listened to it on my LP I have of this album. Is that a flex? Not really, everyone has this one on LP. Is it great? Not really. Did it have an great impact on music, culture and life in general. Yes, of course. And it's not bad by any means, it's just overplayed and overglazed in my opinion. And for an album that has been sold so many times and rated so high so many times it is pretty hard to not be overrated. So it is okay I guess.
