I thoroughly the use of the Tuba rather than the Bass. Helps it sound purely acoustic. The spots for the harmonica solos make sense. I enjoy on the fifth track (Outlaw Blues) the use of the harmonica being used to back up Bob. These songs usually talk about "what I'm doing, what your mama is doing, what your papa is doing, what the mailman is doing, etc.", what I had, etc. I liked on song seven (Bob Dylan's 115th Dream) the little detail of a false start being left in the recording. Ideas are presented clearly. This is definitely gonna be unintentional ignorance about the genre, but he is much more of a story teller than a vocalist (if that makes sense). His placement of the words are so interesting. He either feels right in the pocket or pretty fair ahead or behind (seems like it's finding the balance between the three extremes.

Cool little breakdown followed by guitar trading on "Emerald". The sudden sforzando (near the end, about a minute left ) on "Rosalie / Cowgirl's Song" was pretty cool. The crowd is into them!!! "Dancing in the Moonlight" has a pretty cool opening, doubling-of-the-bassline sort of deal. The first sign of horns is also on this song!! Saxophone solo is mic'd + going through the house?, it could be given a little more love (volume needs to be turned up). Cool start to "Massacre". "Still in Love with You" has a nice placement in the set. Get people going in the start with energy-filled, upbeat songs and then take them down after a couple with a ballad. "Cowboy Song", I feel, is used as a transition out of the slower couple of tunes beforehand to get back to the upbeat songs by having the intro be a sort of "as-cued" section. Dropped straight into "The Boys are Back in Town", cool way to do it.
