1001 Albums Summary

Very lo-fi and pretty chill. I like the singer’s voice. A little spooky. I like the jazzy vibes and it feels like a spy noir. I think I like the song “strangers” the most. “Pedestal” is pretty good along with “biscuit”. I didn’t really care for “sour times” or “numb”. “Glory box” is very good, definitely top 5 from this album. 1) strangers 2) biscuit 3) it could be sweet 4) glory box 5) wandering stars; everything else was meh to me

This album is definitely better than the last one. This one is more geared towards my tastes, which is more bass and drums sounds. I had a difficult time figuring out which one I like the best since they are all so good! My top two are “she bangs the drums” and “waterfall”

Very slow and jazzy. Not my cup of tea but iconic nonetheless. I’m familiar with Aretha Franklin but I’ve never listened to her full album. I recognize “respect”, but I don’t know the others. “Good times” is probably the only other one that I really like.

I can see myself listening to this when I’m studying or when I need some lyric-less background noise. No song was my favorite.
