The overlapping beats are so full of energy, life. Perfect mix of that classic 80’s voice/sound with some funky instrumentals. Based on the first song, I can already hear a number of different genres combined to create an intriguing sound. It’s extremely unique and sounds like what I imagine a cool underground club in NYC to be like in the 80s. The cherry on top is the brilliant vocals, which have so much emotion and depth. Very ABBA meets Bowie - but at the same time extremely unique in sound. The album comes with many emotions - from upbeat to deeply emotional. Some vocals sound like they're from the deepest depths of Simon Le Bon's soul. My top three songs on the album are: Hungry Like the Wolf, Rio, Save a Prayer. Honourable mention: The Chauffeur.
